What is a Family Resource Network?
An
FRN is a group of people from a local community that works together to
better meet the needs of children and families in their local area.
The group includes people who receive services for themselves and
their families and other community members who are interested in
children and families.
Gilmer County FRN's Mission Statement
To coordinate and enhance the development and delivery of services for all persons living and/or working in Gilmer County.
The Gilmer County Family Resource Network is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit
corporation that was formed in 1997. The corporation has a 9-15
member board of directors who meet monthly. Monthly meetings are
generally held on the second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. at the
FRN office.
Meetings are open to the public.
