Hours: Tuesday - Friday 8:30 - 2:30
Center Base Program Services Offered: State licensed. Part day services 4 days a week, September through May. Individual assessments and planned curriculum help to give each child the learning experience he/she needs in individual and group activities. Transportation and meals provided. Parent involvement, health, nutrition and social services are all component areas of Head Start.
Home Base Program Services Offered: A family centered pre-school and developmental experience for children 3 to 5 years of age. The Home Base visitor brings the program to the family each week. Activities are planned by the parent and home visitor to enhance the skills and abilities of the children, including special needs. Children attend the local center for socialization days on Mondays, 9-1 pm. Transportation provided if needed. They are served hot lunch and morning snacks.
Who is eligible? Three and four year old children who meet the income guidelines and special needs children. An Equal Opportunity Program. No fees. Applications for admission are filled out by the parents and staff.
